The Commodities Index Technology team (London, Pune, Houston) is looking for a C# Software engineer. This is a small, highly agile team, who work closely with the Structuring and Trading teams and are looking to ramp up as they re-engineer the bank’s Commodity Index platform.
Responsibilities include:
- Be involved in all aspects of the Agile development lifecycle, gathering requirements, designing, implementing, testing and assisting with SL3
- Work closely with the immediate and global team and front-office users
- Proactively provide ideas and solutions to problems and drive delivery to completion
Required Skills:
- Comp Sci, maths, or engineering degree
- 4 years+ C# development (server and/or client)
- An interest in building good software engineering skills – OO, SOLID, TDD
- An interest in learning about complex financial products
- Good English communication
Preferred Skills:
- MongoDB or another NoSQL database
- Exp of micro-services development
- Exp of Openshift/Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines
- Commodities, risk or other financial services exp
- Exp of working with remote teams
