Reporting
to the 'Analytical Development
& Innovation Lab Manager'
in the Global Analytical Development organization, this role represents an
opportunity to significantly contribute to the high-tech analytical
laboratories in the BDC, by conducting analytical testing, data evaluation and reporting, to
ensure the delivery of our specialty innovator Biotech pipeline to patients.
Your Role:
- Conduct routine analytical
testing in at least one of the following areas (liquid chromatography,
electrophoresis, mass spectrometry, PCR systems, spectrophotometers and
readers) for process development of biotherapeutics with minimal
supervision, including method implementation, qualification, non-GMP
analysis, troubleshooting, as well as early phase stability testing,
capitalizing on organizational and operational flexibility in BDC.
Calculate results and report data, including trend analysis, as required.
Contribute to the data review process according to the established quality
requirements. - Make use of automatized and
digital systems in BDC to generate, document and report results. - Provide input and identify
problems with scientific experiments in related areas; contribute to
laboratory investigations and troubleshooting; meet quality and safety
standards. - Impact the effectiveness of
own work team through the quality and timeliness of the work produced,
working to achieve objectives and meet deadlines. - Manage own workload and
expands technical and scientific contribution by exchanging ideas and
information effectively in a concise and logical way and collaborating
with colleagues. - Recommend improvements to
existing systems, processes, techniques or programs. - Engage and execute on
training program, with focus on performance and personal development.

qualifications
Who you are:
- Technical degree in
Chemistry, Pharmacy, Biology, or Biotechnology - 2+ years hands-on experience
in analytical testing , in at least one of the following areas (liquid
chromatography, electrophoresis, mass spectrometry, PCR,
spectrophotometry, generic tests); - Knowledge of Empower is a
plus - Preferred hands-on experience
with laboratory information systems, digital tools, automation
technologies and lean principles - Highly motivated and
self-driven, and multi-task to support department and business objectives - Curiosity and open minded to
new tools & technology - English fluent, French is an
asset
