Position Overview

As the Group Quality Assurance Manager, you will oversee and harmonise quality assurance processes throughout the Vetropack Group. This position involves fostering continuous improvement, developing group-wide standards, and leading the Vetropack QA and laboratory specialist group.

Key Responsibilities

• Quality Assurance Leadership:

Lead the Vetropack Quality Assurance specialist group, ensuring collaboration and shared learning from quality deviations.

• QA Performance Monitoring:

Standardise and enhance quality procedures, including problem-solving methodologies, root cause analysis (RCA), and the maintenance of global defect catalogues, test plans, and equipment monitoring.

• Supply Chain Quality Control:

Support the development of quality control systems in the supply chain and drive continuous improvements at the group level.

• Project Participation:

Lead or contribute to group projects with a focus on quality assurance.

• Complaint Handling:

Manage complaints effectively, conduct root cause analyses, and implement corrective actions.

• Coordination and Support:

Provide guidance to QA teams across plants, support cold-end technologists with inspection machine validation, and monitor production capability for product-specific requirements.

• Audits:

Conduct internal group-wide audits (e.g., ISO 9001, FSSC 22000) and support customer audits.

Key requirements

• Education: University degree in a relevant field.
• Knowledge of Fracture Seminar AGR 1 & 2, ISO 9001, and FSSC 22000.
• Experience:
• At least 4 years in Quality management within the glass industry.
• At least 4 years in a leadership position.
• Skills: Proficiency in MS Office.
• Languages:
• Italian: B1 level (oral and written).
• English: C2 level (oral), B2 level (written).
