Senior HR Manager (60-80%)
swissQuant is looking for an experienced HR Manager to join our team and play a key role in shaping and driving our people strategy. This is a hands-on, strategic role where you will partner closely with leadership, and align human resource practices with business goals.
Your Responsibilities:
1. Recruitment & Succession Planning:
- Partner with managers to identify resourcing needs and proactively lead hiring and talent strategies to ensure top talent is hired in Switzerland and abroad.
- Ensure top candidate experience from sourcing through to feedback.
- Develop career paths and succession plans to support internal growth and retention.
- Identify and support development for high-potential employees.
2. Change Management:
- Drive and support organizational changes.
- Provide guidance to managers and employees through times of change.
3. HR Operations:
- Mentor the HR Administrator to continuously enhance HR processes—from onboarding to offboarding to promote operational excellence and enhance the employee experience.
- Collaborate with the HR Administrator to review and ensure policy compliance with local labor laws.
4. Compensation & Benefits:
- Collaborate with the CFO to oversee, review, and optimize compensation and benefit programs.
5. Performance Management:
- Train and coach managers on performance conversations, giving guidance on how to address performance issues constructively and legally.
- Manage performance improvement plans (PIPs), ensuring clarity, fairness, and compliance.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and feedback across the organization.
6. Employee Relations:
- Act as a trusted advisor to managers and employees across all levels.
- Manage employee relations issues, resolve conflicts, and promote a positive work environment.
7. HR Communication & Training:
- Deliver internal trainings (e.g., interview skills, manager development).
- Share regular HR updates and insights at monthly business meetings.
What You Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or a related field.
- Solid understanding of Swiss labor laws and HR best practices.
International start up experience in Technology sector
- 10+ years of experience in HR, with strong expertise in:
- Talent Acquisition
- Employee Relations
- Compensation & Benefits
