Our graduate programmes are intended for young postgraduates with degrees from top universities. We offer you an 18-month programme with rotations through various fixed income investment teams and related departments within Pictet Asset Management.
The program is based in Geneva, with potential rotations in Pictet Asset Management’s various offices.
As a participant in our graduate programme, you will develop your technical and business know-how by working alongside accomplished investment professionals, such as analysts and portfolio managers. Our programme will enable you to develop the interpersonal and self-leadership skills you will need in your future career at Pictet, and will give you the opportunity to build a network of peers within the company.
Your role
At the end of the programme, you will be ready to take full ownership of a position as an Investment Analyst in the Total Return Frontier Markets team. Your role will be to assist the team in managing the strategy, monitor market developments, build screening tools and perform ad-hoc statistical analysis, as well as assisting with the marketing efforts. There will be plenty of opportunity to grow in the role over the years.
The Total Return Emerging Market team manages approximately USD 600 million across two internal allocations and one external fund, with the objective of achieving attractive risk-adjusted returns through a disciplined risk management framework.
Your profile
As the chosen graduate, you will be self-motivated show curiosity passion, energy and accountability in your work, be eager to learn, willing to go the extra mile and put in extra hours, as well as showing a strong desire to contribute to the success and growth of the team.
- Master’s degree in a field related to Business, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Physical Sciences, or a qualification deemed equivalent, with an international dimension.
- Proficient user of the most common office IT solutions (MS Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Good command of programming languages (Python or equivalent).
- Relentless desire to learn and grow, strong sense of ownership and accountability in your work.
- Perfect command of English and at least one (ideally two) of the following other languages: French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Arabic or Russian.
- Must be resident in Switzerland, or willing to relocate.
