About the role
We are seeking an experienced Systems Manager to join our IT division and ensure the efficient, secure, and high-availability operation of the Bank's IT systems. In this role, you will manage critical IT infrastructure, collaborate with internal teams and external partners, and contribute to IT projects that enhance the Bank's operational capabilities.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the below Bank’s Information systems, ensure that they function effectively and safely and that they answer the functional needs of users of the Bank in Head Office and its branches abroad:
- VMware vSphere infrastructure
- Red Hat Linux servers
- Windows servers / Active Directory
- Recent Backup software
- Microsoft Cloud / Azure local
- Hyperconverged Systems
- DevSecOps infrastructure
- Provide Service Desk support to internal users and customers.
- Maintain and update the related procedures, technical documentation and plans.
- Proceed with IT Business Recovery Plan (regular testing and in case of Security Incident).
Your profile
- Degree in IT Engineering (specialization in Systems Management) or equivalent.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in IT Systems Management, ideally within a banking environment in Switzerland.
- Required Training & Certifications: VMware vSphere and/or Veeam Backup & Replication training. Windows Server, Active Directory, or Linux training.
- Expertise in managing virtualized environments, including VMware vSphere 7+, Windows Server 2019+, Active Directory, and Red Hat Linux 8+ within a secure data center environment.
- Experience with Veeam Backup & Replication is a plus.
- Strong understanding of IT security principles, risk management, and business continuity planning in financial services.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to handle complex system challenges and make critical decisions.
- Customer-focused approach with strong service delivery skills (ITIL knowledge preferred).
- Strong communication skills in French and English.
- Must be a resident of Switzerland.
