Key Responsibilities:
As the Global Process Owner (GPO) for Source-to-Pay (S2P) within Group Procurement, you will be responsible for defining, managing, and continuously optimizing the end-to-end S2P process to drive efficiency, compliance, and value creation. Since different steps within the process are managed by various business process owners across functions such as Procurement, Shared Service Centers, and Supply Chain, this role requires deep expertise in process management, strong leadership in a matrix environment, and excellent collaboration skills. You will ensure seamless integration of sub-processes across teams, fostering efficiency, compliance, and an enhanced user experience.
- Process Leadership: Define, oversee, and enhance the end-to-end S2P process, ensuring alignment and consistency across all involved functions.
- Continuous Improvement: Monitor and optimize process performance, identifying opportunities for enhancement and implementing best practices to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with senior stakeholders from procurement, shared services, and supply chain functions to align on governance, process ownership, and technology decisions, securing buy-in for process improvements.
- Governance & Compliance: Establish governance structures to ensure adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Training & Enablement: Develop and deliver training programs to educate teams on S2P processes and supporting tools.
- Performance Monitoring: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs), using data-driven insights to drive continuous improvement.
- Change Management: Lead process transformation initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions and stakeholder engagement throughout the change process.
Required profile :
- Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CPM, CIPS, Six Sigma) are a plus.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management
- Extensive experience as a Global Process Owner (GPO) in S2P.
- Proven ability to define, implement, and optimize end-to-end S2P processes in a global environment.
- Deep understanding of procurement operations, Source-to-Pay sub-processes, and governance frameworks.
- Strong proficiency in eProcurement solutions, particularly the full SAP suite, ERP system integrations, and emerging procurement technologies.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
- Strong leadership and collaboration skills in a diverse, global environment.
- EU or Swiss nationality, or valid Swiss working permit
