For an international pharmaceutical company with an office in Bern, we are looking for an IT Service Desk Specialist to provide hands-on technical support and ensure a seamless workplace IT experience. This is a temporary position with a fixed-term contract of one year.
Your Responsibilities:

Technical Support & Troubleshooting: Provide first-level support for hardware, software, and network issues, ensuring minimal downtime.

User Assistance: Help employees with IT-related inquiries, improving their productivity.

System Monitoring & Security: Regularly assess IT security posture, track cyber threats, and ensure compliance with security policies.

Service Desk & IT Operations: Manage support tickets, maintain IT hardware, software, and licenses, and support M365 adoption.

Documentation & Inventory: Keep records of IT procedures, track IT assets, and optimize license management.

Collaboration & Project Support: Work closely with IT teams and contribute to ad-hoc IT projects.

qualifications
Your Profile:

Education & Experience: BSc in Computer Science or a related field, with 3+ years' experience in IT workplace operations.

Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive); expertise in IT security & compliance; experience with ITSM tools (ITIL certification is a plus).

Soft Skills: Excellent communication, problem-solving mindset, strong organizational skills, and ability to work in an international environment.

Languages: Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage.
