Salary: €100,000 net per year (before taxes)
Working Hours: 48 hours per week (on average)
Paid Leave: 4 weeks (20 working days) annually
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Private Vegetarian Chef to join a private household. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality vegetarian meals while maintaining exceptional hygiene standards and ensuring the best culinary experience for the employer’s family. Responsibilities include:
- Preparing a variety of vegetarian meals throughout the day.
- Ensuring the quality, taste, and presentation of meals.
- Adhering strictly to food safety and hygiene standards.
- Maintaining cleanliness of kitchen spaces and all cooking equipment, including dishes, on a daily basis.
Candidate Profile:
To be considered for this role, candidates should meet the following criteria:
- Aged 30 years or above.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience as a professional chef.
- Ideally holds a Swiss residence permit (C or B) or is a citizen of an EU/EFTA country.
- Specialized in vegetarian cuisine.
- Preference for candidates familiar with Indian vegetarian culture and dietary practices.
- Fluent in English or Hindi.
- Ability to work autonomously and travel with the family when required.
- Creative and innovative in menu planning and meal preparation.
- High levels of discretion and confidentiality.
- Clean criminal record required.
Working Conditions:
- The position requires flexibility to work under stress and adapt to irregular schedules.

- Occasional travel with the employer’s family may be required.
