Johnson and Johnson MedTech is currently recruiting for a Global Marketing Leader for MedTech Digital. This position will be based out of Santa Clara, CA. Remote work may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

The MedTech Surgery organization was recently established to combine Ethicon’s market-leading surgical portfolio with the Robotics & Digital Solutions portfolio. The MedTech Surgical organization is comprised of: Wound Closure & Healing and Biosurgery, Endo Mechanical and Energy, OTTAVA (Surgical Robotics), MONARCH (Flexible Robotics), and MedTech Digital.
The Global Marketing Leader for MedTech Digital will lead in driving awareness and lead generation for Polyphonic (our MedTech digital solution) pulling customers through the sales funnel. This individual will be instrumental in developing thought leadership strategy and content for channels of communication, create customer facing collateral for different points in the sales cycle, develop sales enablement materials to train our sales leaders on key differentiators of digital features and solutions, and drive internal change management to educate J&J team members on polyphonic and the possibilities of digital in surgery.
Key Responsibilities:
Channel Marketing
- Generate awareness of Polyphonic in the market, including assessment of which channels are most effective (eg social media, conferences, web, email, blog) and create content to push through those channels
- Create and maintain lead generation process and pull leads through the funnel until a sales rep can establish a meeting
- Run conference planning, budget, and events, including where to speak and all booth logistics
- Establish metrics for measuring Marketing effectiveness and continuously iterate and improve
- Maintain overall Marketing budget and assess where we get highest ROI
Collateral
- Build customer-facing decks for each stage of sales funnel, be primary point of contact with Design
- Work with Product Messaging to incorporate value messaging and evidence into Marketing materials
- Maintain Polyphonic website and build call-to-actions in the most effective way
- Work with regions where needed to customize collateral
- Create a variety of overall collateral: Brochures, one-page overviews, etc.
Thought Leadership
- Work with Comms to establish comprehensive thought leadership strategy and messages on digital OR of the future, including publishing, speaking at conferences, government affairs messages
- Prioritize channels for dissemination of thought leadership themes
Sales Enablement
- Lead Commercial Excellence materials, including training materials needed for sales teams, input of Polyphonic messaging into hardware marketing and launch materials
- Mirror LEX (J&J launch excellence process) where possible to inform audiences and infuse messaging
Internal Marketing
- Lead MedTech experience center going forward
- Create materials for J&J account leader to use for change agents, at internal events like Ignite, internal email campaigns (all working with Design)
Other
- Partner with cross functional team members within JNJ MedTech to coordinate messaging, branding, and communications around digital activities
- Support educational/training material creation on digital, eg 45 for Digital and online training modules
