The Position
Immerse yourself in the fascinating everyday working life at Roche Diagnostics surrounded by beautiful mountains, not far from the scenic Lake Zug and yet close to the cities of Zug, Zurich and Lucerne. The Innovation Management (IM) organization within the Data, Analytics and Research Function, part of Roche Information Solutions (RIS), has ambitions centered around three pillars. First we Inspire RIS Innovation culture and mindset by providing innovation knowledge and experience.
We Partner with product teams and functions to develop actionable Innovation Strategies and we enable and jointly drive RIS Innovation Projects with our Innovation expertise.
This internship position is located in Rotkreuz, Switzerland, on site with hybrid possibilities from time to time.
Key Responsibilities

Contribute to the exploration of ideas together with Exploration Leads and are guided through our state-of-the-art Innovation Framework

Passionately engage with internal and external sources for idea generation to fill the innovation pipeline

Explore ideas through a customer and user centric approach while taking into account the three dimensions desirability, viability and feasibility.
Who You Are
You are enrolled or have completed your Bachelor’s or Master’s studies at a university, preferably in the field of Innovation Management or communication after February 2024 and are interested in applying your knowledge in a modern working environment as part of an internship.
Furthermore you are

Advanced student or recent graduate in Innovation Management, Design or a similar field, preferably with practical work experiences

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (must) and in German (as a plus)

Knowledgeable on innovation, customer-centric and agile methodologies

Experienced in communication with customers and partners.

Facilitation skills in the area of Design Thinking, Service Design and Lean Start-up.

Engaged team player, proactive, self-driven, customer-focused and outcome driven
Technical details:
The start date for the internship is March 2025 with a duration of 9 months.
Part-time employment is not possible.
It is not possible to write a thesis during the internship.
The application deadline is November 11th. Interviews will take place in late November and early December.
