Your mission:
To strengthen our Synechron Switzerland team, we are looking for Support Specialist to join us in supporting a well-established private bank in Geneva.
Your responsibilities:
- You will provide second-level technical and functional support for banking applications managed within the team;
- You will address incidents, document them, analyze problems, perform troubleshooting, or escalate investigations to the third level of support when necessary;
- You will build and maintain operational documentation necessary for the administration of banking applications, according to established standards;
- You will support first-level teams in handling troubleshooting procedures and ensure ongoing training for these teams;
- You will share responsibility for the common on-call duty 24/7 for these same applications.
Qualifications
Your profile and skills:
- You possess a higher technical vocational training (HES / ETS) or equivalent training deemed acceptable;
- You have experience in application administration within a diverse production environment like Unix, Linux, and Windows;
- You have experience in problem-solving (second level and/or third level) focused on applications/packages on heterogeneous platforms;
- You have worked in the private banking sector (both back-end and front-end) required.
- You are familiar and have worked with SQL;
- You possess knowledge of Unix scripting languages like Shell and PERL and Windows (PowerShell) preferred.
- You are familiar with industrialization and automation tools: Rundeck, Puppet, Bamboo, Confluence, JIRA.
- You possess qualities that make you responsible, structured, and detail oriented;
- You consider yourself flexible, open-minded, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team;
- You are fluent in French and English;
- You are a Swiss resident.
