CONTEXT & MISSION:
In order to accelerate the business development in Travel Retail EMEA, we are looking for a highly motivated Account Executive Travel Retail for a 1 year fixed-term contract !
In this role, you will provide operational support to a Key Account Manager in driving business with Top Accounts by collaborating with all the departments involved (Field Supervisors, Marketing, Demand Planning) and also partner essentially with buyers and trade marketing contacts within our clients' organization.
The position is based in Plan-les-Ouates (near Geneva) and reports to the Key Account Manager Travel Retail.
1 - COMMERCIAL AND CUSTOMER INTERACTION 30 %
- Account data files: working closely with the various internal departments, prepare and submit all the necessary files for assortment listing, pricing implementation, novelty introduction, FIFO management, product information- Propose monthly "newsletter" for customers in the region.
- Client material requests: provide the accounts with samples & pre-series or any other material needed to enhance business potential
- Pricing: support Key Account Managers in the pricing process and tool
- Follow up of the specific channels within the Heinemann wholesale business - specifically airlines and cruise&ferries - support KAM on implementing a defined strategy, negotiating and setting up budgets and implementation (with field / training)
- Participate et support the Clients' quarterly meetings / events and annual negotiation meetings
2 - TRADE MARKETING 25 %
- Animation Plan: coordinate marketing animation plans to help field execution with Field Supervisors, Marketing and Concept teams
- Account Media and Digital requests: liaise with TR Brand Marketing teams to provide the accounts with audio & video, packshots, press kits, and all digital assets for upgraded execution on account platforms or partner platforms.
- Support KAM on planning, budgeting and management of WHS promotional plan
3 - BUSINESS ANALYSIS AND REPORTING 20 %
- Provide support to Key Account Managers and Retail Managers with monthly sell-out / sell-in analysis, identifying needs, threats and opportunities
- Together with Key Account Manager, build and follow up on Expenses with suppliers/customers mainly on staff, rentals (permanent & promo), decoration, GWP (gift with purchase) and all animation related costs- and update carefully the required finance tools accordingly
4 - OTHERS 25 %
- Follow up of expenses with tools provided by finance : PO/invoice management
- With Customer Service and Key Account Manager, support claims management from customers
HOW YOU CAN FIT:
- Degree in Business Administration or similar;
- +3 years in a similar position in the Travel Retail industry (experience within the beauty industry is also a strong asset);
- Fluent in English, French is a strong plus;
- Proficient with Microsoft tools (Excel and PowerPoint), good digital awareness;
- Experience in the support of commercial negotiations is a plus;
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with a strong ability to multitask and prioritize
- Highly autonomous team player and quick learner with a positive and problem solving attitude;
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively and develop strong relationships at all levels and across functions;
- Attention to detail and proven analytical skills;
- Appetite for change and challenges and at ease in an international environment with remote & multicultural teams.
