The Opportunity

As the Procurement Strategy and Change Manager you are responsible for driving strategic projects and initiatives within the Diagnostics Direct Procurement (DOP) department. This includes aligning with management priorities, implementing and improving governance frameworks, processes, and ensuring sustainable implementation. The role involves collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to align requirements, ensure effective communication, and foster continuous improvement and innovation.

Additionally, in this role you support the knowledge management and sharing platforms and implements the DOP communications strategy through various measures and events.

  • Partner with the Head of Strategy & Change to define, refine, and execute initiatives that align with Roche’s long-term vision for procurement excellence

  • Lead and implement strategy, initiatives, organizational development, and change management projects. Ensure sustainable implementation and report progress regularly

  • Define KPIs, implement change management strategies, drive and improve organizational development initiatives, including capability building, competency frameworks, and stakeholder management. Establish KPIs and ensure effective communication and change management

  • Develop and enhance governance frameworks. Create reports, analyze data, and ensure stakeholder alignment

  • Create and maintain knowledge management platforms, prepare communication materials, and implement global events. Continuously improve the communications strategy

  • Drive process harmonization and continuous improvement initiatives. Perform continuous professional development and provide guidance to interns if applicable

Who you are

  • Relevant Bachelor's degree, 3-5 years of consultancy expertise, 5+ years in procurement, process management, or project management, and . Preferred: Master's degree, experience in the pharmaceutical industry or management consulting, and agile working methods

  • Ability to define and implement procurement strategies, expertise in roadmap design and business acumen, strong analytical thinking, and proficiency in translating data into insights

  • Excellent communication, influencing, and networking skills; ability to build trust, persuade stakeholders, and align them to a cohesive vision. Strong storytelling skills and experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams and senior leaders

  • Change Management and Continuous Improvement: Proven ability to lead large-scale transformations, foster adoption of new ways of working, instill continuous learning, and implement process improvements using methodologies like Lean or Agile

  • Expertise in category and supplier management, digital and data proficiency, understanding of new technologies, commitment to sustainable procurement, and visionary leadership. Ability to lead across boundaries, build networks, and support diversity, equity, and inclusion

  • Fluency in English (written and spoken)
