The sustainability department are looking to complete the team, for a :

What you will do

  • Engage with campuses’ community (staff, faculty & students) and relevant internal stakeholders.
  • Establish and drive programs to engage campuses’ communities in sustainability efforts and celebrating achievements.
  • Propose awareness raising activities and events and organize the annual sustainability week.
  • Draft communications plans and campaigns to effectively communicate the organization's sustainability commitments, initiatives, progress and play an active role in the drafting and editing of the annual sustainability report.
  • Create compelling content to share accurate, relevant and engaging information.
  • Communicate sustainability updates and renew information shared.
  • Propose specific events to raise awareness about sustainability issues and empower students, faculty, and staff to adopt sustainable practices.
  • Coordinate the organization of relevant sustainability forums or workshops.
  • Represent the sustainability team during promotional events.

Who you are

  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in environmental sciences, sustainability or communications.
  • You have an excellent understanding of sustainability concepts and principles.
  • You have 3-5 years of professional experience in sustainability and/or communications. Experience in an academic institution or university is a plus.
  • You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • You have an excellent command of both English and French.
  • You are able to coordinate cross-functional projects and you have strong problem-solving skills.
  • You are able to work in a multicultural environment.
