Job Description Summary
The Global Supply Scheduler plans, prepares, issues and controls master production schedules (MPS) and coordinates with operations, materials, and sourcing to ensure alignment with planning systems & tools. Advises management of the status of work in progress, material availability and potential production problems to ensure that personnel, equipment, materials, and services are provided as needed. This individual provides critical inputs to the overall supply plan and strategic decisions. Works closely with the supply planners to ensure optimization of available supply chain capacity to support business objectives.
Job Description
Essential responsibilities
- Manage creation and maintenance of supply schedules within the segment while aligning to safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets of the business.
- Keep ERP systems and tools up to date and accurate to the current supply plan.
- Partner with the demand planning, factory, purchasing and finance teams to facilitate end to end alignment through transparent discussion and decisions.
- Manage relationships with factories and value stream leaders to support execution of supply plan.
- Demonstrate leadership in communicating business goals/programs/processes.
- Use experience and expertise to solve problems.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college
- Several years of experience in manufacturing / supply chain
- Few years of experience specifically in material planning / scheduling functions
- Some travel domestically and internationally is required

- ERP [SAP(PMx), Baan, Oracle (Zeal)] experience in a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of the manufacturing process
- Strong oral and written communication skills in English
