Who we are looking for
We are seeking an intern to join our People & Culture function at Schroders in Zurich. You will assist the team with daily administrative tasks and provide advisory services related to general HR functions for both Schroders employees and senior managers.

The team
You will work closely with the HR team in Zurich but will also be part of the broader HR team based in Europe.
What you will do
- General Administration: Provide general administrative support to the HR team, managing electronic filing, and handling HR-related correspondence.
- Employee Records Management: Maintain and update employee records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Onboarding/Offboarding Support: Support the onboarding process for new hires and leavers, including preparing necessary documentation.
- Benefit Administration: Administer employee benefits programs, answer queries regarding benefits, and coordinate with benefit providers.
- Reference Letters: Prepare reference letters for employees in both German and English, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company standards and legal requirements.
- Bill Payments: Manage the payment of HR-related invoices and bills, ensuring timely and accurate processing in accordance with company policies.
- Reports: Assisting in collecting and analysing HR data and generating reports
- Engagement Initiatives: Supporting initiatives to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction.
The knowledge, experience and qualifications you need
- University Degree or Business School with a major in Human Resources Management
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Affinity with HR Information Systems is a plus
