Founded in 1805 and headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland, the Group is represented in 30 offices in financial centres worldwide, currently employing over 5300 people. Pictet has been present in London since 1980, and employs near 400 people.

Pictet Asset Management manages the assets of some of the world’s largest institutions, financial intermediaries and their clients. Our culture welcomes independent thinkers and centres around investment excellence, a long-term perspective and a dedication to client service.

The Request For Proposals (RFP) team helps to acquire new business by responding to investment proposals from potential clients and complete Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQs) for existing clients (including central banks, pension funds, insurance companies and distributors) using a project management approach.

The RFP team is looking to hire a Senior RFP Data Analyst.  You will use your data and analytics skills to collaborate on key projects with the aim of developing, designing and implementing processes and infrastructure, which will facilitate the completion of quantitative data in both RFPs and DDQs. You will also work closely with other teams across Pictet Asset Management, including our Technology division and must be willing to gain a comprehensive grasp of both RFP and technology related activities.

Your role

  • Reporting to Head of Consultant Databases and Institutional RFPs you will collaborate with the RFP team to understand the context and quantitative requirements of the RFP / DDQ in question, taking ownership of answering all quantitative questions within it, using data from various systems and tools.

  • Design and contribute to building a comprehensive and scalable data infrastructure that enables quick access to the required quantitative information for RFPs and DDQs.

  • Work closely with the Tech team to develop and implement technical solutions to automate data retrieval, transformation, and reporting processes.

  • Identify and address data quality issues, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and reliability of the quantitative information.

  • Continuously monitor and evaluate data sources, systems, and technologies, proposing innovative solutions to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the RFP data analysis process.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the firm to establish data classification standards that align with clients' expectations and requirements.

  • Provide expertise and guidance to the RFP team members on accessing and utilizing the data infrastructure effectively, enabling them to focus on answering qualitative questions.

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to data analysis, and proactively share knowledge and insights with the team.

Your profile

  • Master’s degree in a relevant field such as Data Science, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or a related discipline.

  • Proven experience (at least 3 years) as a Data Analyst or similar role, with a focus on data analysis, data management, and maintenance and/or implementing data infrastructure.

  • Strong technical skills, including proficiency in Python, SQL, and experience with Snowflake or similar data warehousing platforms. Experience in visualisation / dash-boarding tools such as Tableau is also preferred.

  • Excellent analytical and quantitative skills coupled with a solid understanding of data governance, data quality, and data classification principles.

  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to think creatively to develop technical solutions that improve efficiency and meet business needs.

  • Experience in working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, demonstrating strong collaboration and networking skills.

  • Strong business acumen and solution-oriented mindset, with the ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Self-motivated and able to work independently, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability for delivering high-quality results.

  • Must be resident in Switzerland or willing to relocate.

The RFP team operates in an international context, catering to clients and prospects globally. As a Data Analyst within this team, you will have the opportunity to work on RFPs and DDQs for a diverse range of clients. As new role for PAM, we envisage this role evolving into a broader team that serves a wider range of clients and prospects in the future. This presents an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and development of the team while making a significant impact on the firm's global operations.
