Position Overview (green denotes UK, Blue Nordics)
The UK Healthcare Solutions Manager will be primarily responsible for supporting the development and implementation of strategy and tactics across the UK to secure reimbursement for non-NICE approved patient populations.
The main function of this role will be to support brand plan execution for non-reimbursed patient populations, reporting to the Sr, Marketing Manager Northern Europe and working closely with relevant cross functional team members. The role will lead on planning, the value story and business case execution at hospital trust/regional level.
The Nordics Healthcare Service Manager will be primarily responsible for supporting the development and implementation of strategy and tactics across the Nordic countries to support business cases and contracting for Exact Sciences products in hospitals and regions.
The main function of this role will be to deliver the value story, including material development, to regions and hospitals in the Nordic countries. In addition, this role will help with contracting hospitals for Exact Sciences services. Reporting to the Sr, Marketing Manager Northern Europe and working closely with relevant cross functional and country business leads.
This position is field based.
Essential Duties
- Lead on creation of business case template and story for patients outside of current reimbursement criteria.
- Develop marketing materials to support the use of Oncotype DX® in these populations.
- Engage with local Trust oncology service managers/ business managers.
- Plays a leading part within the infield team and identifies opportunities to work collaboratively with cross-functional colleagues to deliver on business cases for non-reimbursed patient populations in key accounts.
- Maps and understands the role that all key stakeholders play in relation to influencing, decision making and funding mechanisms.
- Achieves agreed targets and regularly tracks the execution and impact of activities in each account.
- Builds trusted and strategic relationships with payers and anticipates access barriers to achieve optimal reimbursement.
- Documents and shares insights with the organization, including other areas of the organization that may interact with payers such as the contract manager, marketing and sales.
- Develops plans with clear objectives, milestones, and next step actions to optimize the funding & access of Oncotype DX.
- Identify and shape multi-stakeholder projects which add value to the NHS and that position Exact Sciences as a trusted and expert company.
- Where appropriate, support contracting and tendering processes and facilitate the development and delivery of proposals.
- Travel Requirements: Field based role, with travel around the UK and to the London office.
- Lead on creation of value story and materials, tailored for each country.
- Engage with procurement departments to ensure understanding of the value of Exact Sciences, and our products, and to facilitate contracting as needed.
- Plays a leading part within the infield team and identifies opportunities to work collaboratively with cross-functional colleagues to deliver on hospital level access.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree.
- 5+ years’ commercial experience within the healthcare sector, ideally within a commercial role in the UK .
- Experience of:
- Brand planning cycles within pharmaceutical or medical device businesses.
- Collaborating with commercial field teams and cross-functional therapy area teams.
- Working with and building relationships with HCPs and other external stakeholders.
- Working knowledge of relevant codes of practice.
- Knowledge of market structure and landscape within the Nordic Countries.
- Knowledge of business case development.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
- Strong team working skills within a matrix organization.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple timelines.
- Strong attention to detail, quality-oriented with the ability to see the big picture.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Highly organized and self-motivated.
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
- Knowledge of multiple Scandinavian languages essential.
- Possession of a full valid driver’s license.
