Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine is currently seeking a Postdoctoral Scientist, Computational Biology/Data Science with a strong preference for this individual to be located at one of our sites in Berlin, Germany, Beerse, Belgium, Spring House, PA, Cambridge, MA, Titusville, NJ, or La Jolla, CA. At Johnson & Johnson, we all belong.The Data Science and Digital Health organization in a close partnership with the Oncology Therapeutic Area within Johnson and Johnson Innovative Medicine develops innovative insights and solutions by using multi modal datasets, advanced algorithms, and high-performance computing.
We are looking for an outstanding post-doctoral scientist whose responsibilities will include:
- Analyze, integrate and interpret high dimensional data from multiple data modalities including transcriptomics (whole transcriptome sequencing/single cell sequencing/spatial transcriptomics) and cytometry (CYTOF/flow cytometry).
- Use statistical and machine learning methods to identify signatures from high dimensional biological data to characterize the tumor microenvironment.
- Work in close collaboration with scientists in Translational Research, Discovery and Data Sciences to deliver novel insights that support pre-clinical / clinical compound development strategies.
- Actively participate in building modeling pipelines to develop reusable software assets for cell therapy programs.
- Participate in experimental design activities in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams across Johnson and Johnson Innovative Medicine.
- Maintain compliance with internal requirements for data integrity and reproducible research.
- Communicate results to internal collaborators and external partners through project reports, oral presentations and peer-reviewed research publications.
