The Opportunity:

Join Hitachi Energy as we embark on an exciting multi-year project, Reiwa, to upgrade our core ERP systems to SAP S/4HANA. As part of our growth strategy, we are standardizing our IT application landscape and digitizing our business processes to meet the needs of our expanding business. We are establishing a BU HV SAP Center of Expertise (CoE) to support our High Voltage factories and service units globally.

How You'll Make an Impact

  • Drive full adoption of SAP production planning and execution modules in local units, maximizing the solution's potential and business benefits
  • Collaborate with SAP Business Process Owners globally to harmonize business processes, drive improvements, and prioritize system requirements
  • Analyze existing business processes to identify optimization and automation opportunities using SAP solutions
  • Work closely with Local Business Process Owners and Key Users to address their highest priority challenges, monitor system usage, and gather feedback
  • Proactively resolve user issues and ensure change requests are well-documented for quick implementation
  • Upskill key users to become SAP system experts at their sites through training and support
  • Assist in creating SAP training materials and provide training on new processes and functionalities

Your Background

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, engineering, or equivalent work experience
  • Experience with SAP production planning and execution modules (PP, PP/DS)
  • Strong knowledge of the S4/HANA platform and SAP Certifications preferred
  • Experience in manufacturing and industrial services
  • Excellent communication skills with fluency in English
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, global team environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative, solutions-oriented approach
