Product Owner – Job Ad
Are you passionate about building highly innovative, robust and intelligent systems?
Do you like to have an impact in an agile and tech savvy work environment?
swissQuant Group provides quantitative services, consultancy, and products for financial and industrial clients, including a number of global Fortune 500 companies. Our business edge originates from the effective translation of Intelligent Technology into measurable, bottom-line client value. swissQuant Group is a privately held company incorporated in 2005 as a spin-off of ETH Zürich.
Position
We are looking for someone that can operate as Product Owner.
As a product owner you will use your skills and experience across technology and finance to improve our industry leading risk management tool (CleaRisQ) and wealth management system.
You will:
- Own the end-to-end product, lead execution on new features, feature improvements and client projects.
- Conceptualize new features and feature improvements.
- Maintain and prioritize the product and sprints backlogs with the Technology team, including writing stories, estimating effort, and defining acceptance criteria
- Bring together the short-term (sprints) and long-term (roadmap) product views
- Build relationships with external clients, internal team members, and other business areas within swissQuant.
You bring:
- Product Owner skills. You do not need to have a deep mathematical understanding (we have quants for that). You need to understand the business driver for features, and conceptually understand the risk models.
- You write consistently good user stories. You know what constitutes a “good” user story.
- Past experience as either a professional software developer, or a Product Owner/Product Manager in the financial services industry.
- Practical experience with scrum.
- Business fluency in English
You are:
- A servant leader who encourages diversity of thought, creates a culture of trust, and fosters leadership in others, while being able to set the course and win the team to follow that route
- Thriving in an agile environment, living the scrum values
- Good at navigating ambiguity
- Interested in financial & risk technologies
- Eligible to live and work in Switzerland
