Your Mission
- Support in his engineering field during product development, production support and project. Conduct relevant Design task with or without supervision.
- Define and develop equipment (jigs & tools) as well as flight hardware in a cross-functional team together with manufacturing engineering, material and process, operation, quality and other departments.
- Support product development, i.e. design department (incl design to cost), analysis, system engineering, manufacturing engineering and product assurance.
- Proactively communicates and aligns cross-functionally with the adjacent engineering fields and department outside engineering such as operations, quality, procurement and other teams.
- Support processes and product continuous improvements to deliver in line with customer quality, cost, and demand.
- Write technical documentation, project related deliverable, and other specifications related to his field of work.
- Follow task manager guidance for work prioritization and scheduling. Provide necessary input to Task manager & Technical Lead.
- Understand and comply with internal Business Process Management (BPM)
- Work package / Task Manager. Report to technical lead budget and milestone. Raise awareness on risk and blocking points.
- Participate in NRBs (Non-Conformance Review Board) according to the NC process.
Your Story
- University bachelor/master’s degree in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering or equivalent Advanced Federal Diploma of Higher Education.
- Minimum two years of experience as design engineer or equivalent role in a relevant engineering discipline.
- Extended CAD software experience (prefered systems: Catia V5, Teamcenter)
- German and English at proficient business level
Nice to have’s:
- Knowledge of the space industry and market.
- Experience in large composite structures and composite design.
- Experience with MGSE, Testing or Manufacturing equipment.
- Industrialisation experience.
- Willingness to travel for short amounts of time (1 day up to 2 weeks) to support acceptances and commissioning of new equipment at our manufacturing sites. Support ongoing production in person.
