Hitachi Energy, High Voltage Products, is renowned worldwide as a specialist for power transmission and distribution. The Service unit is responsible for the worldwide after sales support of generator circuit-breaker (GCB) systems and gas insulated switchgears (GIS), including training, installation and commissioning, scheduled maintenance, added value services, troubleshooting, extensions, retrofits and replacements.
Join our team! We are looking for a highly motivated and result-driven Head of Product Management & Marketing. In this role you are responsible for Product Management, Installed Base Management, Marketing and Pricing for a sizeable and fast-growing Service Business. You will actively support Product Management and drive initiatives to bring Installed Base Management and Pricing to the next level together with your team. You have a proven track record in product management, leadership and a solid understanding of a Service business. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical, conceptual and communication skills.
Your responsibilities

Lead, coach and develop the team, consisting of two Product Managers, an Installed Base & Marketing Manager and a Pricing Manager, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration and results delivery

Develop and execute the product strategy together with the team in alignment with the company’s vision and strategic plans

Define product roadmaps and prioritize developments based on customer feedback, business needs and goals

Collaborate with other stakeholders and functions, such as Business Development, Sales, Marketing, Engineering and Operations, to ensure successful implementation of new products and service solutions

Support Product Management - in particular for GIS, and drive solution concepts for Installed Base Management and Pricing for the Maintenance business together with the team

Monitor product performance and gather insights to drive continuous improvements

Represent the function in Management Team meetings and provide regular updates on product performance and progress of initiatives
Your background
-
Bachelor’s or master's degree in business administration, marketing or engineering

5-10 years of experience in product management, business development, sales a/o a related role, ideally with 3+ years in a leadership role

Strong understanding of Service business and product management; experience in installed base management and value-based pricing of advantage. Knowhow of GIS technology of advantage

Strong analytical, conceptual and interpersonal skills, very structured in the way of working

Proven ability to manage multiple projects and lead interdisciplinary teams

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, SAP (S/4 HANA) and CRM software (Salesforce.com) of advantage

Proficiency in English. German language skills are an advantage
