Business Architecture - Lead Analyst
This is an opportunity to work alongside business architects and process modelling teams to support the organizations immediate and long-term transformational activities impacting all sectors within Citi to:
- Maximize straight-through processing and minimize manual inputting and adjustments
- Simplify and consolidate applications with common functionalities, eliminate disparate systems and strengthen data quality controls.
This approach will leverage the enterprise architecture methodology to provide a framework to review transformations /projects across the enterprise through a common set of architecture principles and consistently monitor key architectural metrics across the enterprise.
The Lead Analyst is a seasoned professional expected to leverage project management knowledge, providing oversight of Enterprise level cross-functional Enterprise Business Architecture initiatives. The role is part of the Business Architecture Process Modelling and Operations(PM&O) Capabilities team which has a primary focus of ensuring the delivery of regulatory committed milestones and strategic solutions. The person would assist in streamlining and strengthening project governance, articulating business requirements, and reporting while engaging with business units across the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Support the operational governance of project management activities to ensure adherence to methodologies and standards for project delivery.
- Document business requirements in the form of user stories and work towards prioritization of items for technology implementation.
- Opportunity to build working relationships with stakeholders to better understand the best method for engagement in project definition activities and milestones.
- Coordinating timely communication of status, risks and issues while ensuring that pragmatic solutions to risk and control issues have been identified.
- Ownership for change control execution and ensuring accurate tracking of items
- Opportunity to demonstrate leadership skills through management of virtual teams ensuring participants stay connected and productive.
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
- Considers the business implications of the application of technology to the current business environment; identifies and communicates risks and impacts.
- Partners with business architects and other stakeholders in the execution of CEAM and Business Simplification objectives.
- Champions Business Simplification; acts as educator and envoy of the Citi Enterprise Architecture Methodology.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience with Business Analysis and Project Management for initiatives across multiple business lines through Agile practice and process, with a focus of establishing Continuous Delivery. This involves use of project management tools and JIRA.
- Experience of Enterprise Architecture tools rollout (like Mega Hopex) would be a huge advantage.
- Reporting/ Dashboard development skills (Tableau, Power BI) using data visualization tools.
- Experience in one or more areas in banking including Operations, Finance and Risk preferable.
- Experience leading or providing material support to transformational projects that cross organizational divisions.

- Experience with Enterprise Architecture tools would be an added advantage.
- Exemplary written and oral skills required, ability to synthesize key messages and “storytell”
- Ability to multitask and prioritize critical tasks with a high attention to detail
- Motivated and able to work with teams as well as independently
- Strong organizational, communication and leadership skills
- Exposure to the development of presentations
