The Financial Planning and Analysis Manager is an intermediate level position responsible for providing management with an analysis and insight of Citi’s financial results in coordination with the broader Finance team.. The overall objective is to manaffe a full team and apply analytical thinking and knowledge of data analysis methodologies to create/analyze reports that gauge Citi’s alignment with forecasted performance.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct supervisory actions such as training, evaluations, hiring, disciplinary actions, and termination of team members
- Develop and maintain appropriate documentation to ensure integrity of financial, regulatory, and management information in line with established records management policies
- Standardize reporting requirements to ensure financial and management reporting is properly identified and addressed
- Provide information and supporting analyses to facilitate annual business reviews and financial decisions
- Advise on procedures and concepts in technical area, integrate with others in accomplishing goals as well as improve process efficiencies
- Review departmental processes and procedures for automation to maintain efficiency and accuracy of reporting
- Develop a diverse financial talent pool that can meet the various needs of a growing team
- Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.
- Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.
- Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.
- Ability to manage teams.
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.
Qualifications:
- 5-8 years of experience in working with a variety of financial platforms
- Previous supervisory experience
- Working knowledge of industry standards and practices
- Proficient computer skills with a focus on Microsoft Office applications
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated presentation skills
- Demonstrated analytical skills
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
