Scientific Specialist (m/w/d)

• Carries out routine and complex experiments and research with a high level of independence. This includes including Experimental Protocol set-up, Method development (based on scientific expert input), Scheduling & material ordering and Data analysis / reporting / respectively resource tracking
• Develops key technical expertise in agro-biology and crop protection in own work area
• Solves difficult experimental problems
• Active collaboration in scientific and operational cross-functional/cross indication activities and projects
• Adopts new technologies with digital mindset

• MSc or BSc with additional experience or similar education level
• Very good English written and spoken (B2 or above)
• Ability to lead internally and act as role model for delivery 
• Expertise in Crop protection experimentation
• Eager to continuously learn and advance own (and others) knowledge.
• Open to digital approaches and applies digital tools where possible or requested
• Capability of sharing knowledge in team, group or project team.
• Ability to establish a strong network within and across research functions and some key partners to leverage collective expertise and skills to improve experimental activities.
• Adapts to change in Syngenta and is able to communicate positively but honestly.
