Capital Project Engineer
We have a phenomenal opportunity for a Capital Project Engineer to join our team at our Castlebar site. This role is required to provide project engineering support to the Kidney Care Solutions Group Engineering Team. This role is required to ensure execution of various cross-group capital projects both within the Evergreen program and Kidney Care NPI, MIP and new technology areas.
Responsibilities:
- To work in a safe manner and in compliance with all Baxter Health, Safety & Environment mandatory policies, standards and procedures
- Lead and execute key Kidney Care Solutions Group projects ensuring timelines are met and deliverables achieved
- Ability to write User Requirement Specifications and execute Design / Installation/ Operational/Performance Qualification activities as part of project execution
- Ability to perform risk management and translate the results into action and implementation plans to then execute
- Identify, develop and maintain stakeholder relationships across plant network and support functions
- Support and adhere to personnel policies and procedures
- Plan and prioritise their workload to ensure that agreed deadlines are met
- Provide periodic updates to the Assoc Director of Engineering, Director of Engineering, Head of Engineering and other relevant personnel
- Adhere to the Baxter Change Control Management System for all changes to existing or implementation of new systems as required
- Perform such other duties as the management may reasonably require from time to time
- On occasions, be expected to work late and at weekends to ensure time lines are met
- External Contacts – Liaise with Suppliers and Vendors as well as inputting to the validation of projects being handled
Requirements:
- Degree or Masters Degree in Engineering
- Experience in a Pharmaceutical setting
- Manufacturing experience is a huge advantage.
- Ability to work alone, be innvoative, drive change and demonstrate positive impacts.
