These “new champion” companies harness data and new technologies to refine product offerings, improve customer service and change mindsets to make better and faster decisions. They are also championing new approaches to sustainability and talent management.
This position is offered as a maternity cover for the period January to June 2025.
Reporting lines and interactions:
The Community Lead, New Champions Lead is reporting to the global Head of New Champions. The Lead will be responsible for ensuring excellence in managing his/her portfolio of New Champions member companies from his/her territory and further developing their engagement across the Forum’s value proposition. The New Champions Lead is expected to work independently and provide specific advises to develop further the community engagement, processes and business development.
Internally, this person will work with colleagues in the Strategic Intelligence team, as well as across relevant Platform teams, and externally with a broad range of stakeholders in member companies.
Main responsibilities:
Membership engagement:

Build and develop trusted, long-term relationships with New Champion member companies Pacific, engaging their C-suite executives

Understand companies’ strategic interests, drive the implementation of tailored engagement plans based on topics of interest to the members

Act as a trusted adviser for member companies, guiding them on the Forum’s work and ensuring that they derive the highest value from their engagement.

Provide logistical support and guidance to help members navigate key Forum events; and identify and pursue up/cross-registration opportunities across the Forum’s wide spectrum of offerings
Business development:

Build a pipeline of potential future New Champions, aligned with the profile of companies we are looking for and sharing Forum’s values.

Meet with and present value proposition to enrol new members for the program.

Increase the community in his/her region
Operational excellence and internal collaboration:
-
Manage the community information and secure data integrity of the community members.

Follow on unpaid bills and other administrative tasks required for the membership.

Work proactively and collaboratively across relevant teams at the Forum to orchestrate and deliver the engagement plans for the member companies.

Regularly review the status of membership internally. Be on top of the latest developments of the Forum’s value proposition and present opportunities to members.

Contribute to the team efforts to improve efficiency and excellence of operation through improvement projects, taskforces etc.
The successful candidate will be assessed on:

Ability to identify and develop strategic relationships with key executives and consequently deepening account penetration, including through new value streams

Membership recruitment and retention rates
-
Fruitful coordination with internal teams to ensure the delivery of value
Preferred Requirements and Experience:
-
Broad intellectual background with a Master’s degree or equivalent in a relevant subject (Business, Economics, Public Policies etc.)

10 years’ professional work experience in relevant field (Account Management, Market Research or Consulting, B2B Sales)

Excellent communication skills and command of English; proficiency in mandarin would be an asset

Prior experience in account management and business relationship development, including proven ability to engage with business leaders at senior executive and C-suite level

Ability to connect the dots in a complex matrix environment, with a strong service and entrepreneurial attitude

Agile team player and self-starter who enjoys working in a highly collaborative, fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment
