Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the kitchen team, including training, and development of staff.
- Plan, create, and execute menus that showcase seasonal ingredients, local specialties, and international cuisine.
- Maintain the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Oversee inventory management, including sourcing and purchasing of ingredients, while controlling costs.
- Collaborate with the management team to align the culinary offerings with the overall guest experience.
- Stay current with industry trends and incorporate new techniques and innovations into the menu.
Qualifications
- Experience as a sous-chef
- Culinary degree or equivalent professional training.
- Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Expertise in both traditional and contemporary culinary techniques.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of German and French is an asset.
- Passion for food, creativity, and a commitment to excellence.
