The Client Organization was established to support and complement the businesses and ensure that we deliver ‘OneCiti’ in a consistent and disciplined way through a centralised view of client strategy, segmentation and coverage model.
Within this organization, the Client Business Execution team manages the administrative and operational support of the Chief Client Officer; centrally leads the execution of key priorities and business routines; programme manages a selection of strategic initiatives; owns resource allocation, productivity, and the realisation of cost efficiencies; and drives culture and people initiatives with the rest of the Client leadership team.
The business associate is responsible for accomplishing results by organizing, coordinating or delivering administrative and performance activities – in collaboration with stakeholders throughout the firm. These tasks may include preparing briefings, helping coordinate townhalls and events, tracking of business activities and other administrative needs, managing records and participating to ad-hoc projects.
Responsibilities:

Support the effective execution of the Chief Client Officer franchise and governance responsibilities

Support the co-ordination the Chief Client Officer’s global travel, including strategic conferences (e.g., WEF, IMF) and council affiliations (e.g. FIC, Kazakhstan), shaping agendas to ensure effective meetings with internal and external stakeholders

Review, challenge and conduct due diligence on briefing materials for the Chief Client Officer in preparation of client meetings, conferences, and internal engagements.

Help the preparation of the Chief Client Officer’s internal and external engagements, communications as well as talking points in collaboration with key stakeholders, and assist in the drafting of other correspondence and materials.

Co-ordinate and provide logistical support for leadership meetings and offsites of the Client organization as well as global events led or hosted by the Chief Client Officer (e.g. townhalls)

Contribute to and lead special projects or executive-ready analyses, reports presentation materials as needed

Assist with other ad hoc duties requiring advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, SharePoint, Outlook) as required

Assist, when relevant, with the co-ordination of the Global CEO’s travel and engagements in the UK

Provide administrative support to the Head of Business Execution and, on occasion, provide back-up coverage to the executive assistant of the Chief Client Officer
To deliver these responsibilities, the AVP candidate will need to demonstrate a keen focus on forward planning, the ability to take a proactive approach to preparing for longer-term projects and deliverables, the ability to prioritise and think strategically, as well as strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Due to the breadth of the role, the successful candidate will be a flexible, results-orientated individual with the ability to deal with ambiguity and a diverse range of businesses and information. The role demands a strong work ethic, and the individual should have a high level of integrity to deal with highly confidential data and be able to demonstrate initiative.
Education and Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience

Outstanding employment performance, successful candidates will have experience in large complex / global organizations – in house experience desirable
Knowledge and Experience:
-
Some level of understanding of financial services and the way large financial institutions operate – knowledge of Citi’s organization, products and services will be a plus

Previous business execution and / or project management experience desired

Advanced excel / presentation skills essential
