Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to join our System Team. As a System Engineer you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining virtualized infrastructure. You will ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our VSI/VDI systems, supporting our business objectives and driving innovation.

In this case, you will:

• Design and implement virtualization solutions based on business requirements and best practices
  
• Configure and manage hypervisors (e.g., VMware)
  
• Design and implement virtual networking, storage, and resource allocation strategies
  
• Ensure high availability and disaster recovery planning for virtualized environments
  
• Design and implement VDI solutions based on business requirements and best practices
  
• Configure and manage Omnissa Horizon infrastructure
  
• Ensure high availability and disaster recovery planning for VDI infrastructure
  
• Design and implement storage solutions for virtualized environments (e.g., SAN, NAS)
  
• Manage storage provisioning, allocation and performance optimization
  
• Implement data protection and disaster recovery strategies for storage
  
• Manage projects and initiatives related to IT System VSI and VDI, including planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting to ensure timely delivery and alignment with business objectives
  
• Diagnose and resolve VSI, VDI, Storage, backup issues promptly to minimize downtime and disruptions
  
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including software upgrades and firmware updates
  
• Monitor our infrastructure performance and identify potential bottlenecks
  
• Ensure compliance with security policies and procedures
  
• Collaborate with other teams, such as network, cloud, security, and development, to support cross-functional projects and initiatives
  
• Maintain accurate documentation, configurations, procedures, and processes to facilitate knowledge sharing and ensure continuity of operations
  
• Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and efficiency enhancements within the IT network environment

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field
  
• Strong understanding of virtualization technologies and concepts
  
• Experience with server hardware, networking, and storage systems
  
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  
• Certification in virtualization technologies and VDI (e.g., VMware Certified Professional, Omnissa) is preferred
  
• ITIL certification is necessary
  
• Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
  
• Experience with automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform, Puppet)
  
• Client & Service centrix
  
• French and English necessary
