What works well?

Too much turnover and the good people do not stay long or are encouraged to leave. Very little communication at all levels. Some benefits for students or people looking for a salary supplement.
What could be improved?
Very nice shop window.....shame that once inside the store, the commitments from the beginning are not respected. No consideration, no recognition and no thanks, even after a few years with a fixed contract. You have a number (like in prison ....) and it is very difficult to have contacts and to be able to exchange directly with your hierarchy or the members of the management.

Salaries are paid on time. Nothing else positive to report about this company, unfortunately.
What could be improved?
Low salaries in line with the CLA to the penny. Staff management based on blackmail and intimidation, the aim being to break agents in order to undermine them in the controls. Any attempt at advancement is immediately scuttled; only cronyism works. Annual training sessions are held remotely, and face-to-face sessions are in fact a monologue with the "trainer". Agents are prevented from speaking out, to avoid complaining about working conditions and opening the conscience of other newly arrived agents. The former S contracts are being laid off to save on their salaries, and it's becoming very difficult to become an A contract unless you have a permanent position. All that's left are precarious B/C contracts or students. More and more customers are asking for federally certified agents, but the company does nothing to support these agents in their training or in passing the exam. It's impossible to communicate with superiors, everything is watertight, the personnel committee doesn't represent the staff either, and those who try to defend the agents are ousted from this committee.

Everything needs to be improved. This company (suc. de Genève) was at the forefront of training and service 2 decades ago. It seems that Securitas Geneva has to seriously revise its copy in terms of leader. too big to fail. Not sure. The work climate is not good... The employees are exhausted and resigned. Understandable since most of them come from far away... They work for a slightly better salary than at home, but with hours worthy of the countries we criticize daily... Hire mostly former gendarmes (France), soldiers (France), legionnaires (France) .... Ensures the company of people with complicated schedules and miserable wages...

What could be improved?
I must have applied a dozen times for a part-time or full-time security position. And every time I've been turned down, which suggests that you need to be an engineer to do the job... . I find this distressing, especially as I'm a national of France, and I'm in excellent physical condition. I also have a university degree. At least give the opportunity to young people who are genuinely motivated, and who moreover have all the physical qualities required.
