A company that stands out from the crowd! Freedom and development!
What works well?
A company for people with an entrepreneurial spirit, in this respect no other company on the Swiss market offers so many possibilities and freedom! I really feel that I am useful in what I do and understand why I work, which is not often the case in "classic" jobs. I am constantly developing both technically and personally. Having already completed Bachelor's and Master's courses, I can guarantee that the training offered by SwissLife Select is state-of-the-art and I believe it is the best on the financial market. My income and career prospects are not limited and I have already been able to verify this. Motivation to surpass oneself from day to day is one of the company's great strengths. Coaches (team leaders) are people who do an extraordinary job of developing employees and supporting them throughout their careers, something you don't often see elsewhere, once again! A separate company that inevitably does not leave one indifferent and sometimes divides. When you stand out from the crowd, this is often the case, as a company or a human being :)
What could be improved?
The selection of candidates for a job interview could be improved. Let me explain, there are too many candidates who come for a job interview but do not necessarily have the entrepreneurial spirit and open-mindedness necessary to work at SwissLife Select. These candidates therefore sometimes come out of the interview frustrated because their vision of the company remains too narrowly based on conventional schemas. This is not at all in line with the SwissLife Select model, so these candidates offer unconstructive criticism of the interview, when they have actually seen only 1% of what the company actually offers. They focus on the fact that one must create one's client portfolio like a real entrepreneur (which they consider negative as they do not have the right mind for this) instead of trying to observe the usefulness that is offered to the clients thanks to this system that allows a quality of service well beyond the rest of the financial market (banks, insurances, brokers, etc.). To sum up, SwissLife Select and recruiters should make a first selection before offering interviews in order to avoid attracting candidates who are not adapted to the company's business model and who then feel frustrated and criticize in a non-constructive way. In spite of that, one of the only companies that give the chance to have an interview to almost everybody (unfortunately it turns against it from time to time...) You have to disregard abusive negative criticism in my opinion and try to see for yourself. Tip: talk to current employees of the company rather than critical candidates who have only done one interview... Happy job hunting to you! :D

Advertisement poorly written. Result: 1 hour drive from Freiburg to Marin for just 5 minutes of maintenance!

I didn't get a good impression of the interview. It's about showing a boring video of the company's hierarchy and how to progress in the career. It's the pyramid system.... :(

The candidate is led to start making a turnover with his entourage! Going to people's homes in the evening or on weekends.... So if you don't want to do this, don't apply.
