Our purpose is to understand our clients’ financial needs and aspirations, to manage their invested money accordingly, and to be a lifelong guide to them and to their families.

The roots of ISGAM’s business can be traced back to 1984 with the formation of a UK investment brokerage, providing savings plans and small capital investments to international people in Brunei, Indonesia and other parts of South East Asia.

In the early 1990s the expanded team passed the relevant professional examinations for financial planning and investment administration, primarily through the Securities Institute and the Chartered Insurance Institute in the UK.

Also in the early 1990s the new discretionary portfolio management service started to grow, with the appointment of a UK and US qualified Portfolio Manager and Investment Analyst with supporting research staff.

By the mid-1990s the business’s clientele had become global, with financial planners now visiting clients in South America, Europe and the Middle East as well as in South East Asia.

In 2001 ISGAM AG was formed, establishing the structural base of the business within the regulatory framework of Switzerland. Since then it has consolidated its business to focus exclusively on its higher net worth clientele.
It has been regulated from inception by the VQF and since August 2016 by the Financial Sector Conduct Authority in South Africa.

The company’s principals, its key administration staff, its portfolio managers and its financial planners represent a well proven team who have worked together in this industry for over 30 years.
