- Migrants are welcomed with dignity and with a real desire for professional integration. Many activities are offered for their well-being, and EVAM is constantly seeking to perfect the mission entrusted to it by the Canton. The creation of positions to support and assist the multidisciplinary teams and, above all, the educators, is a superb initiative in the UFM field. - The working conditions and well-being of employees are also to be highlighted. What could be improved?
There's a lot of negative talk about EVAM, but it doesn't reflect reality at all. Some employees from border countries want to reiterate the same social model as in their country of origin, without trying to understand and adapt to Swiss codes and requirements. An effort of adaptation and integration is necessary for some employees, who must first learn how to integrate in Switzerland before learning how to integrate migrants.

What could be improved?
Day-to-day management. The managers of the various departments should perhaps listen a little more to the demands of their employees, in order to achieve their mission as effectively as possible. The facility seems to have difficulty anticipating problems, both for beneficiaries and employees. We only react when we're up against the wall, which is a real shame. As for IT, it's from another era. This sometimes wastes a considerable amount of time, and has repercussions on the quality of our work. Salaries should also be reassessed. Particularly those of employees who have to deal with beneficiaries whose behavior sometimes leaves something to be desired, not to mention the fact that employees sometimes have to deal with people from prison environments.

There is an atmosphere of kindness and respect towards colleagues, partners and of course the migrants.

Currently on a fixed-term contract, I hope to continue with a permanent contract. The atmosphere is very good, you feel useful from the first day. The work environment is healthy and caring. The company is very dependent on the laws and regulations that govern its core business, therefore, one must be patient, responsible and committed. As an employee, it is possible to communicate easily with the hierarchy as well as with the HR entity in case of need. The well-being of the employee is very important.
What could be improved?
