I applied for this company in the early summer of 2022 and was very surprised at the hiring process. First, an HR person invites me for a trial day, without any interview beforehand. I clearly ask the question during our short phone interview, to find out how the trial day will be conducted. For example, will there be an interview during the trial day or will it be scheduled at another time? To my surprise, HR responded that she didn't know... I asked her to find out, but never received an answer! I then went to the probationary day and never heard back. During the trial day, there was no one to give me a proper welcome. I spent the day with an ESA apprentice and a young employee who had been there less than a year. I didn't see any managers. No discussion about the job was really possible. The only experienced person was absent that day and was scheduled to be absent, so not a last minute situation. And finally 2 weeks later, I receive a completely impersonal email, via Jobup, that my "file" was discarded as unsuitable, in one sentence and without ever having met a responsible person from the institution. The team was running with 3 people out of 6, including 2 people who had been absent for a long time. I applied for an animation position and what I saw was hotel service from 9am in the morning until 5pm in the evening, very short animations (30' in the morning and little more in the afternoon). This place did not suggest a serious organization or quality HR support.

What works well?
Good atmosphere within the company. Free employee parking and breakfast. A wide range of meals at affordable prices, with the option of taking a good-to-go home. Responsive managers who are very involved in team management. Very friendly building, close to the station and public transport.

What works well?
The application process went very smoothly, I had an observation day and then a job interview (later in the afternoon) all on the same day! I think that's a very good point, as it helped me feel reassured in my choice to work at the résidence du Leman. What has worked well for me at EMS résidence du Léman since I started working there is the team spirit, the way we work together, and the way our superiors listen to us and help us out when we run into difficulties. I really feel that our team has been together for some time now, and that's why I enjoy working here.

What works well?
We give you the hope of working in a beautiful establishment, but in reality we're ripping you off with pretty smiles.
What could be improved?
A company that doesn't care about people. Travelling 600km for a project to become a frontier worker. Knowing my profile and experience, they offered me a trial day (unpaid, of course), only to tell me 3 weeks later that I'd been rejected, even though during that day I did virtually no work or was able to demonstrate my skills. So what does that mean? That I wasted time and money because he knew from the start that he wouldn't take me on. I strongly advise against this company, which uses people and I don't even know why, because it's not understaffed at all...
