Like others obviously before me last week, I received a negative reply with a totally incomprehensible reason, in this case I myself would have indicated that I did not master French. A simple glance at my CV and cover letter would have shown the opposite. In my humble opinion, either there is a problem with the submissions of applications, or they either do not look at them or they send negative answers without worrying about the adequacy of the text (in this case, they would be better off just indicating that they have selected applications that better correspond to their expectations).
