This is an Italian company based in Switzerland, so a lot of information is being kept under wraps at the Geneva site in order to keep up appearances. Turnover is high (more than ten departures, at least half of which will be due to resignations in 2023), and this is how the company is losing out on its know-how, using this "come or go" policy.
Management based on cronyism rather than merit.
Employees' working conditions could be much better, whether in terms of pay or benefits, but management prefers to cut back on every last penny, even if this means lowering quality (a concrete example is the removal of the IT department, which has been present on the site for over twenty years, to be replaced by a deplorable IT department which wastes a considerable amount of employees' time).
The lack of rigor in certain departments (on a machine that works with a password: a single password for several operators, which runs counter to good manufacturing practice, or training courses that you are made to read in 2 minutes and then sign without assimilating any of the content due to lack of time).
